Steve Pearce on Drug Testing Proposal

A new law proposal has been presented to Obama by a Republic representative, Steve Pearce. Since people with jobs have to pass drug tests, people whom are government assisted (homeless, jobless) would have to pass these drug tests as well. Pearce expresses his anger toward the ongoing issue of unaccountability that the US Government has had towards the people that they offer the assistance programs to. Pearce has misstated that the government has completely avoided these issues. When in the meeting when the potential law was proposed, Pearce's spokesmen was asked if Pearce thought that the drug screening that was already stated in the legislature wasn't effective enough to him, the spokesmen didn't reply right away. It turns out that the drug test proposal that Pearce had was actually more broad than the legislature that was already in place.
